Service List

Presently, there are several church school opportunities at First Christian. The church has both children and youth church school classes that are offered during the school year.

For our adults, there are currently three classes that are available on Sunday mornings. Each class offers a different format, style, and study topics.

Fifth Sundays are a fellowship and learning opportunity for the whole church. We gather together in our fellowship hall and share a meal with informal discussion on current topics.

Church School begins at 9:45am.

Other small groups and studies are offered during the week days.

Worship is at the heart of our congregational life. Our worship style is a traditional Sunday worship which begins at 11:00am. In our worship service, we follow time honored traditions of liturgy and confessions of faith. In addition, we are open to the contemporary voice of God speaking to us today through music, word, and the arts. During worship we offer praise to God, prayer for each other, our community, and world. We gather strength from the fellowship. We covenant together to develop a discipline of prayer and personal devotions as we deepen our awareness of God’s loving power. We are sent into the world with the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit and to be disciples and to live as children of God in a world that cries for peace and justice.
